Christianity has survived and inspired so many down the centuries. Who knows whether true Christians might be able to save us from our rampant tendencies.

In Gladys's tale as found and told by Alan Burgess, she shows that her spirit and belief in Jesus's teachings and love of humankind was strong enough to impress the Mandarin of the area and he converted to her Christianity which was a superior version of the religion. I don't know if she has been sanctified but she ought to be. Great woman but in the spirit of humility, her story had to be sought from her with patience and tenacity. Alan Burgess is to be thanked, and you are too Chris for this bright piece.greywarblernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3753486518085091399.post-15774581541284344182018-04-02T23:43:07.485+12:002018-04-02T23:43:07.485+12:00Very nice Chris. Pilate struggles to have Jesus saved but himself becomes a follower of the philosophy. It's an amazing alternative depiction of the characters and events. If Bulgakov can tell the tale his way, we all can. Nice story Chris.Nick Jnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3753486518085091399.post-80407539285340644542018-03-31T14:05:16.234+13:002018-03-31T14:05:16.234+13:00Really nice, Chris.
